Sexual cultivation is designed to be the building of your energy source. Rather than allowing the daily routine of the world to transfer our physical fatigue to spiritual exhaustion, sexual cultivation allows our sexual energy to be channeled to our spiritual selves and in this way our spirit dominates our body.
In order to retain our energy source, sexual cultivation must be focused on orgasm control. Masturbation in and of itself is a wonderful spiritual tool, but requires intense discipline in order to remove the influence of the world from this meditative practice. Fantasies fueled by pornography and lust will not suffice. So, let us examine the orgasm.

The sexual response cycle is actually divided into four phases: Excitement, plateau, orgasm and resolution. There is no defined beginning or end to each phase, as they are all connected in a continuous process of sexual response. The human being was created by God, our divine architect, to achieve orgasm through a variety of of ways and means.
Orgasm can be achieved through techniques such as visualization, breathing, and other exercises wholly removed from masturbation and sex, rendering ejaculation obsolete.
We also know the orgasm by another description: SEXUAL CLIMAX. This is the sudden release of accumulated sexual energy. As far as the brain and body are concerned, the orgasm is controlled by the autonomic nervous system, which is the same part of the nervous system that controls and dictates your heart rate, breathing, perspiration and digestion.
When men orgasm, seminal fluid collects in the urethral bulb. This is when a man may have the sensation that orgasm and ejaculation are certain. When the semen is then ejaculated from the penis, a series of contractions occur in the penis and also the pelvic region.
When women orgasm, the vaginal walls contract rhythmically every eight-tenths of a second. The number and intensity of the contractions vary depending on the individual orgasm. When this takes place, the muscles of the uterus also contract.
When both orgasm, their pulse rate, blood pressure and breathing sky-rockets. Muscle tension and blood vessel engorgement reach a sensational peak. Sometimes orgasm comes with a grasping-type muscular reflex in the hands and feet. The orgasm activates the part of the brain defining pleasure, releasing endorphins and causing our minds to temporarily lose control. In fact, when men and women reach orgasm, the lateral orbitofrontal cortex temporarily shuts down, according to a study in the Netherlands. This is the geography of the brain that is responsible for behavior control. We find ourselves in another realm, surrendering to that brief experience.
During the orgasm process our brains are also showered with oxytocin, which is the powerful brain chemical that gives is feelings of intimacy. It is better known as the “cuddle hormone”. Oxytocin makes us feel connected to our partner (one thing lacking in masturbation). It eventually bonds you to each other. Orgasms can consume the entire body, leaving the pelvic zone and sending shockwaves everywhere.
As far as our health is concerned, orgasm leads to feelings of euphoria and pleasure which reduces stress, depression, and anxiety on every level. It boosts the immune system as well. Orgasm burns calories, promoting relaxation and the release of tension which helps you sleep better. It increases circulation in the body and also increases the sharpness of our mental state, alleviates pain and helps the cells in the body regenerate. It also inhibits the aging process.
All of these physical elements are, of course, the physical translation of what is happening on an energetic and spiritual level. On an energetic level, the flow of energy is sped up within our bodies and opens up in us a place of receptivity, whereby the meridians and chakras of the body are receiving an unrestricted flow of energy. Alignment is occuring between the vibration of your physical perspective and your spiritual vantage point.
Now, what if the orgasm is retained?
(THE FOLLOWING SECTION OF THIS TEACHING CONTAINS DEMONSTRATIVE PHOTOS THAT ARE NSFW)
I am focusing this next section on the men now. This practice is not for everyone. For the new monastic, it is essential. It requires a level of consciousness that is based on the energy principles I have just lined, and integrating them into our spiritual principles.
The purpose of this technique is to generate our orgasmic energy, and begin directing it up the pathways of our body that focus on our spiritual empowerment. It requires you to rethink your sexual behavior in a radical way and demands you cleanse your mind of all worldly and cultural influences.
This technique is essentially for men because, unlike women, men lose vital life-force energy when they ejaculate. This loss of vital energy is reflected in their diminished capacity to maintain an erection, the immediate loss of interest in their partner, the waning of sexual desire, the immediate necessity for sleep and their inability to access the spiritual through the sexual. Seminal retention was developed not only to reconcile this imbalance between gender, but to insure complete female satisfaction from the male.
The path to spiritual empowerment and enlightenment through the vehicle of ecstatic sex requires skill and enables the man to surrender deeply into the high states of arousal, finding himself on the edge of orgasmic release, just before falling off the edge of the cliff to the point of no return.
Chronic masturbators, who are constantly short-circuiting the orgasmic build-up with their incessant and often premature discharges of ejaculate, seem wholly unaware that the body has a huge capacity for heightened pleasure if orgasm by ejaculation is withheld. In fact, it allows the system to stay up and running, without having to "reboot the hard-drive", so to speak.
Now keep in mind, as men we are only experiencing pleasure up until the moment of ejaculation. After that, we enter a less than thrilling domain when we find our erectile capacity diminished and suddenly our penis does not want to be bothered or touched. It wouldn’t be such a crisis if it was not accompanied by a huge let-down following ejaculation, which sabatoges the close emotional and spiritual bond that lovemaking is designed to induce - the part that women find so appealing. For all of these reasons, male ejaculation is a monumentally overrated source of sexual pleasure. In fact, calling it the “climax” pleasure is, quite simply, a lie from our early conditioning as males.
During your meditation process, you may use masturbation as a discipline toward orgasm control. Here is an initial outline of the techniques I have used and fine-tuned:
1) Remove all clothing. Remember, you have nothing to be ashamed of. God made you in His image. Remove your glasses, any jewelry and anything else you were not born with.
2) Be as comfortable as possible. Sit with your legs crossed on the floor or the ground.
3) Close your eyes and focus on the breath coming in and out of your body. Rest the palms of your hands on your knees. RELAX.
4) Breathe in deeply through your nose and exhale through the mouth to the last breath. Breath in again through the nose, exhaling through the mouth.
5) Now concentrate on the energy between your legs. If you are not aroused, this is nothing to be concerned about.
6) Now strengthen your PC muscles. Since these muscles stop the flow of urine, start practicing by stopping urine at midstream during your restroom breaks during any given day. Begin with one urination, and then increase a few more times each time you are in the bathroom. You will eventually build the strength necessary to use those muscles to stop ejaculation.
7) Once aroused, “lift weights” with your penis. This will produce an erection. Hang a towel or washcloth over the end and try to lift. This is building control - mind and body working together.
8) Masturbate using any technique you are accustomed to, both in your stroking method and in the event you use lubricant. Once you feel you are nearing orgasm, pull back until the feeling subsides. Then start again. This way you build up your PC muscles, as well as desensitize yourself so you can withhold orgasm.
9) When you begin to near the point of no return, stop and focus on the energy you have just generated. Continue your steady breathing method and focus on the energy between your thighs.
10) Visualize the energy flowing from your penis, your scrotum and pelvis, upward through your body and reaching your head. If you are doing this successfully, you will experience a tingling sensation throughout your body. You will also feel the heat being generated. This is your energy.
11) As you repeat this practice, you will find your sexual energy increasing rapidly.
12) Do not push yourself too hard in the beginning. Let your sexual energy flow into your spirit and focus on your routine prayers and mediation. Keep all worldly ideas and concepts of pleasure, sex and lust away from this process. You are learning to let the spirit dominate the body. If these influences from society are present, your spirit will lose against the flesh. These things have no place here. This is your time alone with God as He created you…A SPIRITUAL BEING INHABITING A SEXUAL BODY.
By maintaining and retaining your sexual energy, transferring it into spiritual energy, your spirit now dominates the body it inhabits. When it is the other way around, our spirit is smothered by the flesh.
The reason we have so many sex scandals, adulterous affairs and religious leaders falling from grace in the institutional church of mainstream Christianity, is because the church has taught that by ignoring the desires of the flesh, those desires will go away. You can not tame the desires of a hungry lion by ignoring his roar. The lion must be fed, without being swallowed by him.
The truth is, we can only have mastery over the flesh by facing the desires of the flesh. By addressing our desire and channeling it into spiritual energy, with God as our focus, we have conquered the flesh.
The Apostle Paul understood the battle against our old self and our new one. Even as a mighty man of God, he struggled against the flesh. (Romans 7: 14-23)
Paul, like every follower of the Christ today, was battling carnality and the warring after the flesh.
By recognizing how and why God created us puts us on the right path to spiritual empowerment. How He created us was as sexual beings, with natural desires. Why He created us was to glorify Him as Master.
Discipline, persistence, commitment and the courage to face the flesh, transforming our sexual energy into a spiritual grid, we become enlightened and find our oneness with God as He intended.
Through the controlling of the flesh and allowing the Holy Spirit to take control, our sexual energy is offered as a sacrifice to the God who created it. By building our spiritual energy, we are empowered by God, to perform miracles and supernatural works. You are meant to use what God has supplied you with. This sick can be healed and the dead can rise. Prison doors can be opened and the blind can see again. Nothing can harm us, but it be in accord with the will of God the Master.
Christianity as a religion has not empowered the followers of Jesus Christ with knowledge. The church has suffocated and stifled that power, snuffing it out as a means to control the sheep. It has increased the burden on the people as Jesus accused the pharisees of doing in His time.
For the new monastic, enhancing our spiritual energy by tapping and reserving the energy of the flesh, creates in us the spiritual powerhouses and warriors God intended us to be.
While many in the mainstream church will criticize this practice and my teaching of it, I would respond only by pointing out that while Jesus said nothing about masturbation (or homosexuality for that matter), He had much to say about divorce, adultery, self-righteousness, lust, and greed.
The church has been unable to tame these in their congregations. Over 50% percent of their pastors are addicted to pornography. Their congreations have a divorce rate topping the secular average. Televangelists are hiring prostitutes, both gay and straight, and children are being molsested by priests and bishops all around the world. They can criticize this teaching, and while they find themselves using this knowledge as a distraction, know full well that the church is engaged in a sexual morality crisis of its own making. While they deal with that, our practitioners will be liberated in having conquered the flesh.
MEDITATIVE RETRACTION OF THE PENIS
The purpose of this very ancient practice is to conquer your sexual desire, retain your semen and have mastery over the flesh. Those who practice similar techniques at a young age (following puberty) are able to cut off their semen flow, reatracting their penis at will. Many have mastered this and do not necessarily remain celibate.
Adance practitioners are said to undergo physical transformations indicative of neutralization of sexuality and gender. This includes shrinkage or perpetual retraction of the penis, or in the cases involving women (in a version of their own techniques) flattening of the breasts. The following techniques, while used by very few women with varying methods, is exclusively designed for men because it is focused and centered on the penis.
This practice enables men to have full control over their flesh. We have heard it time and again when a celebrity, televangelist or politician has been caught in sexual impropriety: “what was he thinking? He was thinking, but he was thinking with his penis.”
This method turns that concept inside out. For the spirit to be master over the body is a divine gift. To be able to control the body in such a way that the spiritual rules the physical domain requires disicpline and commitment. This exercise puts you on that meditative path.
TECHNIQUE

When the penis becomes erect, put a middle finger on the center of each palm, then place your tongue on the rood of your mouth. Close your eyes and begin the process of meditative breathing. If you are prone to nocturnal emissions, practice this technique prior to sleeping. It will require discipline and must be done in addition to your daily prayer and meditation time.

To stop the loss of your life-force, bend your middle finger to the center of your left palm cavity. This cavity connects the heart and lower abdomen by a channel (vein) passing through the wrist. You are now slowing blood flow to the region.

Now place the right middle finger on the left palm at the cavity point and the left middle finger on the right palm at the cavity point, blocking blood flow from both cavities. Now concentrate on drawing in the penis, with your tongue against the roof of your mouth. Breath in while raising the eyes from the left to look up, and then breathe out while lowering the eyes. This exercise drives energy up and down the nostrils. Do this seven times, pause and concentrate on drawing in the genital organ again. Repeat three more times for a total of twenty-eight times. This will coincide with the rhythm of your breathing.

As you continue this technique, you will notice that your spiritual energy is taking control of your body. As you master this (and it won’t be in your first session) you will be able to retract your penis into your body until it is virtually hidden from view.
